Position Purpose

The responsibility of the Marketing Director, AHS is to develop long and short term marketing strategies and a clearly defined business position for a number of home improvement product lines including roofing, siding, windows, kitchen refacing, kitchen remodeling, and bath remodeling. This position will serve as the primary liaison between the AHS business leadership and all marketing cross functional departments. This person will direct and manage a team of 2 exempt and 2 non-exempt who have responsibility to manage both strategic and tactical execution of marketing programs for THD’s interior and exterior home improvement businesses.



Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities


  • 30% Work with senior leadership to develop long and short term marketing strategies, as well as the AHS marketing team to ensure they provide strong strategic planning, tactical execution, .com integration, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) data analytics, and creative vision for the organization’s growth through increased lead generation.

  • 30% Develop highly effective closed-loop marketing programs with technical partnerships through Red Beacon, core side Marketing .com integration, and use of insight analytics such as expense ratios that measure ROI through various marketing channels.

  • 20% Develop monthly, quarterly and annual marketing programs for product lines based on competitive analysis, consumer input, financial data and creative tactics that enable the company’s outside sales force to drive profitable revenue growth.

  • 20% Develop and maintain strong relationships with merchandise vendors and U.S. Store management. The goal of these relationships is to establish unique sales driving opportunities to THD and support the sales teams in AHS.



MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS


  • Must be eighteen years of age or older.

  • Must pass the Drug Test.

  • Must pass Background Check.

  • Must pass pre-employment test if applicable.

EDUCATION REQUIRED - The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

YEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE - 07

PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS - Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Marketing experience at a retail company or as part of advertising agency team Experience in brand or product marketing

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND COMPETENCIES –


  • Strong leadership abilities and experience in managing cross functional work relationships

  • Highly organized with ability to combine strategic direction with hands on tactical execution

  • Knowledge of consumer and product research, market segmentation and competitive intelligence/ analysis

  • Demonstrated ability to conceptualize and build integrated marketing plans
