Job summary
As marketing supervising associate within the Brand, Marketing and
Communications function of EY’s Americas Financial Services Office, you
will work within a team to strategically position EY’s distinctive brand
within the financial services marketplace. You will be part of a team
that helps raise awareness of the firm’s experience in audit, advisory,
tax and transaction services and executes programs tied to asset
management, banking and capital markets, and insurance sectors within
the Americas. Working closely with the practice and our business
development professionals, you will play an essential role in helping
meet go-to-market objectives and achieve revenue goals by coordinating a
large number of marketing and communications activities, including the
creation and distribution of thought leadership, media relations, event
development and management, and the use of digital marketing.

Requirements and Responsibilities
- Co-develop the concepts and content of marketing and communications programs, and align these with the practice’s [add industry sector, service line and/or geographic] strategy
- Work as part of a team which collaborates with the practice, industry and other firm leaders, to develop market-facing initiatives that help drive EY’s overall strategy around key business issues facing our clients
- Assist marketing manager with the development of the annual marketing strategy and help develop and manage annual marketing budget
- Effectively project manage multiple marketing initiatives simultaneously
- Collaborate with leadership to identify business issues impacting buyers. Plan and manage marketing and communication initiatives aligned to these issues
- Work independently to resolve challenges while maintaining an active dialogue with all stakeholders
- Develop thought leadership working closely with subject matter experts and coordinate the creation of marketing collateral
- Supervise and manage the distribution of thought leadership, both externally and internally
- Develop and execute effective events’ programs, including those that are proprietary and within the industry
- Effectively collaborate with other Brand, Marketing and Communications and Business Development professionals throughout the global organization
- Track the return on investment (ROI) of overall marketing programs and individual initiatives; and provide reports and status updates
- Participate in market research projects
- Proactively share marketing knowledge and market insights
- As the job involves preparing time-sensitive materials for clients (internal and external) and programs, extended hours are often required
Knowledge and skills requirements
- Understanding of advanced marketing and communication principles, and, ideally, exposure to [insert role alignment here] marketplace issues
- Strong project management skills and proficiency at effectively managing multiple complex and time-sensitive projects
- Demonstrated ability to team across multiple groups of diverse stakeholders
- Proven talent at building relationships and influencing without authority to produce results
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including a proficiency in converting complex technical concepts into compelling market messages
- Adeptness at effectively interfacing with senior leadership and navigating a matrix management structure
- Demonstrated ability to adhere to reporting requirements and risk management protocols
Experience
- A minimum of 5-8 years of work experience, with some marketing experience
Education
- A Bachelor's degree, with a Marketing or Communications major
