Description
The Risk, Information & Banking (RIB) Finance team is responsible for the planning, forecasting, and analysis of worldwide Loss Provision and Credit Reserves. RIB Finance provides credit-related decision support to Risk Management, regional Finance teams, and the business teams on underwriting, customer management, and credit and collections activities.

Lead the analysis and presentation of monthly results to the Chief Credit Officer for Canada, and support monthly results analysis for the market
*
Manage forecasting and analysis of Loss Provision and Credit Reserves for Canada
*
Understand and communicate the key drivers of provision variance to our Risk, Finance, and Business partners
*
Provide decision support on key risk initiatives in the areas of underwriting and customer management
*
Use large datasets of customer-level data to identify trends in the portfolio which can be used to optimize business and risk decisions
*
Support additional team projects across Risk Finance, such as the evaluation of credit reserve methodologies, stress test modeling, or cost-benefit analyses
Qualifications
* The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, inquisitive, and quick to take initiative
* Must be proactive and results-driven with the ability to manage multiple projects and work within tight timelines
* Must be able to synthesize complex concepts into understandable business insights, especially when communicating with senior management
* Able to think strategically and have the relationship skills necessary to partner and drive results in a cross-functional team environment
* Must be comfortable with advanced Excel modeling
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* 5 years + experience
* Advanced degree preferred
Preferred Additional:
* Previous card/risk management experience and MBA a plus
* Working knowledge of SQL is desirable, but not required
