Overview of The Department:
This role will sit in the Digital Marketing - Onsite organization within US Consumer Services Member Marketing Team. This position will report to the Director of Project Management, Digital Marketing - Onsite. The goal of this team is to create a word-class, seamless end-to-end web/mobile experience that converts, inspires, educates, and welcomes Cardmembers to AMEX digital.
Job Responsibilities:
This Analyst, Project Management position will be responsible for helping to define and manage the scope, plan and budget of consumer web and mobile projects across the mobile and desktop version of americanexpress.com.
- Build and manage project plans
- Write high level business requirements
- Assist in the management of portfolio level budgets
- Execute project feasibility with business and technical partners
- Share project management responsibilities with an IT development project manager
- Support the PMO by reporting project progress at a summarized level and escalate any issues appropriately
- Actively monitor project issues/risks to foresee and identify potential problems and proactively identify solutions to address them in advance
- Continuously manage expectations, ensure delivery of the highest quality service, and solicit and act on feedback
- Conduct project post mortems and proactively identify opportunities for improvement to all process and tools used in the execution of project activities

Required Skills/Qualifications:
Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communications skills
- Flexible, can-do attitude
- Organized, with excellent follow-through skills
- Strong attention to detail and focus on task completion is critical
- Passion for providing high quality services to your customers (e.g. prospects, Cardmembers, external partner teams)
Preferred Additional:
Nice to have’s qualifications include the following:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Project
- Finance background
- Knowledge of SDLC
