They want someone to work predominantly across the origination, structuring and execution of asset-backed financial transactions.
My client, a top European investment bank, are looking to make the hire of an Associate/VP level candidate to join their ABS securitisation group.
They are looking for a candidate who can bridge the gap between the junior and senior members of the group and be able to provide support to the ABF (Asset-Backed Finance) warehousing business.

The Role:
  • You will be responsible for marketing, structuring and executing ABS transactions.
  • Will be required to run rating agency models using spreadsheet applications.
  • Act as a primary point person in the execution of term ABS transactions ranging from simple tasks for co-manager roles to all-encompassing duties where the bank acts as structuring lead manager.
  • Provide guidance to Analysts and support to VPs in this context.
  • Maintain expertise in all aspects of the deal process including deal structuring, collateral analysis, ratings, legal documentation, coordination with syndicate/sales, coordination on internal matters (legal, compliance, KYC, back office, etc.), and support to secondary trading desk as needed.
  • Develop pitchbooks including idea/content generation
  • Assist SFCM team as needed in the initial execution and ongoing management of warehouse facilities related to term ABS issuer clients; provide market data points, structuring assistance, portfolio performance analysis, etc. to assist in key internal processes (diligence, approvals, etc.).
  • Ensure seemless product delivery to our clients across term and warehouse securitizations
  • Must assist in the coordination of the deal team in the smooth running of transactions.
 

Core requirements/Desirable Qualities:
  • This is for an Associate/VP level role – candidates must be a suitable level of seniority/possess significant relevant ABS/Structured Credit/Securitisation experience coming preferably from another investment bank.
  • Should possess excellent execution and leadership qualities – being required to assist the deal team in all aspects of ABS transactions.
  • Must have a Bachelor’s or the equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Business or related business specialty
