The IT Project Manager – Full Flight Data will demonstrate leadership in communicating business goals, programs, and processes for an area or business segment. In this role you will utilize experience or expertise to solve problems, develop / execute objectives for self and others, and have the ability to effect short-term and some long-term business goals. The IT Project Manager will work closely with Aviation teams to deliver on projects flight data.
In addition you will:
  • Provide technical and/or project leadership function for assigned projects
  • Leverage existing solutions and global design to drive standardization and simplification to reduce implementation timelines and costs
  • Assist in creating, implementing and supporting the full flight data enhancement request process
  • Communicate standards, policies, and compliance requirements
  • Identify critical path decisions, make recommendations, and influence program leaders and business process owners to maximize project payback
  • Lead the analysis, requirement development, design, documentation, implementation, and maintenance of large / complex IT solutions for business processes
  • Work as a business partner with client leaders and users to evaluate / improve business processes and arrive at mutual, cost effective solutions for business processes
  • Participate in the preparation of long-range systems plans and assure that they are in concert with business objectives and goals
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology (IT), Computer Science or Engineering from an accredited college or university (Or a High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in the application of information technologies to business solutions)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with current information technologies and their influence on business functions

  • Ability to coordinate efforts in line with the "bigger picture" to maximize the overall value of IT service delivery and demonstrated history resolving conflicts in priority
  • Knowledge of current server and database technologies, including business intelligence tools and transactional database systems
  • Knowledge of information security tools and processes
  • Proven analytical and problem resolution skills
  • Quality and cost driven
  • Proactive responsible individual, able to set own action plans
  • Ability to influence and build consensus with other IT teams and leadership
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
