The Global Function units at Citi include Audit & Risk Review, Compliance, Control & Emerging Risk, AML, Citi Security and Investigative Services (CSIS), Finance, Strategy, M&A, Investor Relations, Global Public Affairs, Human Resources, Legal, Risk Management, Global Community Development and Microfinance. Finance: FPG Solutions Lead Analyst -13066260
Description
The
PMO Financial Controller will provide comprehensive financial
management for the PMO manager and Finance Projects Group (FPG) leads.
Key responsibilities will include:
Financial control, financial management reporting,
staffing and vendor management, project level accounting, tracking, and
reporting of all FPG efforts, month end and year end entries and
reconciliations.
Detailed responsibilities:
-Create FPG and Project Level Monthly Financial Reporting package
-Project accounting/variance; set up monthly review process/meetings
-Financial expense reporting, detailed analysis, and forecasting support including both direct and indirect allocations
-Capitalization on each project: confirm monthly
percentage by phase with PM's on all projects, provide allocations to
Finance, validate amortize expenses
-Assessment of project expenses: confirm if any
additional project team costs should be capitalized in accordance with
policy and financial impact
-Provide support on detailed project level budget cost models and "people to projects" FPG allocations models
-Support project managers in coordinating expenditures with Technology counterparts
-Manage the identification of risks which impact expenses
-Communicate with Tech finance leads, Finance Planning and Analysis, and procurement contacts
-Coordinate and support finance tracking tools and systems including spreadsheets, PTS, TRS, etc.
-Lead the facilitation, coordination, and
arbitration of cross-functional macro level topics within programs and
with Senior Management
Qualifications
-3-7 experience in financial controller or similar role
-Experience with project or system delivery (i.e. big 5 consulting or similar experience)
-Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office products
(Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project /MS Project Server a plus) and
project time-tracking systems
-Track record of managing work to achieve milestones on time and within budget in a high-pressure environment
-High visibility role, C Level skills required.
-Team player with ability to handle strong personalities at all levels of the company.
-Will be required to interface with Corporate and Divisional areas
-Excellent analytical skills
-Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills
-Very strong influencing and partnering skills
-Experience and ease in interfacing with Senior Management
-Progress, resource, financial and vendor management expertise a strong plus
-Bachelor’s degree required; MBA and PMP a plus
