Further information about "working at Moody's" is available at our Careers Page at www.moodys.com The Build and Deploy Engineer will be responsible for: - Developing, testing and deploying framework for build and deploy platform - Deploying applications to numerous servers on Windows and Linux platforms - Installing and configuring application servers like Tomcat, Weblogic, Websphere, JBoss on Linux and Windows platforms - required - Troubleshooting application servers issues - Supporting Dev and QA teams on day to day activities - Working with development team to perform code management and delivery to QA team and making recommendations for best practices - Managing build and deployment platforms and infrastructures - Managing Dev and QA infrastructures - Bachelors\Masters Degree in Computer Science or Engineering - 3+ year software configuration and internal testing - Experience with Linux and Windows platforms - Required - Experience in scripting using Perl, Ruby or Python - Experience with application servers like Tomcat, Weblogic, Websphere, JBoss - Required - Experience with continuous integration applications like Jenkins, Cruise - Experience with build and deployment automation tools like Ant, Maven, Ivy, Nexus, Sonar, Chef, Puppet, or similar software build tools - Required - Experience with Perforce or similar source control tools - Experience in fast paced Agile development environment - Experience in multitasking and fulfilling requests from Dev and QA teams - Programming skills with Java, C/C++/C# is a plus - Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills - Flexible, team oriented, self-oriented, goal focused and quick learning skills The Build and Deploy Engineer will be a member of the Release Engineering team based in San Francisco and dedicated to developing Moody's Analytics Solutions.
