Job Summary
This
sales position is for an Education account executive who will work with
K12 education accounts in Richmond, VA. Job responsibilities will
include growing existing business with these education accounts and
building the business with new customers who have little or no Apple
market presence.
Key Qualifications
- The ideal candidate will have an understanding of the K12 market and will have experience in selling complex solutions consisting of hardware, software and professional service products. This position will have the responsibility for shaping the digital learning environments of the schools Apple does business with.
Description
This
position will require regular interaction with superintendents, board
members, chief academic officers and other senior leaders in these
institutions. The Apple AE will be responsible for building business
plans for their territory that provide yearly roadmaps for key projects
and learning initiatives in these accounts.
This position will require good resource management skills to ensure
that the best Apple resources are being applied to their account base.
This includes the effective use of system engineers, marketing
resources, education development executives and key Apple management
personnel.
Education
Candidate should
have at least 5 to 8 years of experience in technology and software
solutions sales to enterprise accounts. At a minimum the candidate
should have a four year college degree. Previous knowledge of Apple
products and solutions is desired.
