Senior Analysts / Associates – corporate development – TMT – San Francisco, USA
My client is a leading global multi billion dollar retailer, seeking to add a senior analyst / associate to their corporate development M&A team to help drive forward the development of their E-commerce practice. The team works closely with senior management on the firms strategic initiatives for business growth and profitability. Responsibilities include market analysis of the firms strategic transactions, acquisitions, JVs, for the firm, and presenting findings to relevant internal parties , as well as being integral members of the execution process. The role gives you the opportunity to work closely with senior management from both internal and external parties and gain a strategic outlook on key factors that drive growth / success within a leading global firm, as well as get an overview of different business functions within a business.
To be considered for this position, you should have :
- Approx. 2 – 4 years of investment banking , M&A, corporate development, corporate finance experience from a leading bank, advisory firm or multi-national corporation
- Relevant transaction experience in the broader TMT / Technology industry is preferred
- Track record in execution of M&A transactions – including strong due diligence, financial modeling , and valuations skills
- Strong interest in business and corporate strategy and able to assess and pick up on key market trends
- Strong communication and research skills and comfortable with presenting findings to senior management
- Ambitious individual and team player
- Bachelor's degree from a leading educational institution
