Job Summary

Apple's Global ABAP team is currently looking for a Senior ABAP developer / Lead to work closely with the Functional/Business teams and execute projects in various SAP modules. Our SAP landscape is one of the biggest and complex enterprise systems with systems like IS-Retail, GTS, SCM, BW etc in addition to ECC R/3.

Key Qualifications

• Minimum 5-8 years of core ABAP experience, having worked in SD/MM/FI modules of SAP.
• Experience in developing Classical/ALV/Interactive Reports, SmartForms/SAPScripts, Dialog Programs and BDC programs.
• Experience in designing and developing interfaces using ALE/IDoc's, Flat Files, RFC's, BAPI's, etc.
• Extensively worked with ABAP Objects, BADI's, BTE's and Enhancement Framework.
• Should have been part of upgrade projects/Support Pack applications and should have done SPAU resolution/OSS note applications.
• Must have specific functional knowledge like Pricing/Output determination procedures in SD, Goods Movement/Release strategies in MM, Validation/Substitution Rules in FI, etc. * Must have gone through at least one full scale implementation cycle and have good knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle methodologies.
• Knowledge of ABAP Web-Dynpro, Workflows, WebServices (SOA).
• Experience in SCM/Retail/GTS/BW/PI is a plus.

Description

We are looking for a person who has varied experience to handle the following responsibilities: Attend technical design review meetings and help come up with optimal and scalable technical solutions. Work on new SAP technologies and come-up with frameworks/architecture for future projects. Development of critical objects and code review objects developed by other members of the team. Capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously. Handle small / medium group of developers, assign and review allocated work. Provide warranty support post project go-live. Coach and train other personnel as required in support of managing the application and environment.

Education

MS/BS in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or equivalent.
