Responsible for the closing and settlement of
Primary, Secondary and Third Party Commercial Loan Transactions.
Support Capital Market and Portfolio Management teams by closing trading
activity and performing counterparty screening to be compliant with GE
& federal regulatory policies in relation to Anti-Money Laundering
(AML) compliance (Know Your Customer screenings).
Basic Qualifications:
Proactively drive closing of Primary and Secondary transactions with counterparties following expected closing timelines.
Influences counterparties to meet deadlines while
effectively maintaining relationships between counterparties, Capital
Markets, Risk, internal/external counsel, finance and other Lending
Operations teams.
Interact with Capital Markets, sellers and buyers
(counterparties) of commercial loans as well as deal teams to execute
the closing and settlement of Primary and Secondary transactions.
Ensure timely, accurate and complete closing of Primary/Secondary syndication and Third Party Trades.
Perform KYC screening for all counterparties.
Review documentation, identify and reconcile discrepancies.
Ensure that necessary approvals are received.
Prepare internal loan closing documentation including Assignment Agreements, Trade Confirms, Funding memos and wire forms.
Calculate and reconcile funding amounts and fees.
Establish loan settlement documents for execution by Lending Operations Booking Team Leads and Team Managers.
Ensure the proper filing, storage and retention of records.
Ensure Primary Syndication Allocation file is updated
throughout syndication period and work with Booking and Finance teams to
reconcile fee income.
Resolve issues regarding cash and trade processing in a timely manner.
High School Diploma or GED, with a minimum of 2 years’ related customer service work or equivalent military experience.
Experience with Microsoft Suite including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook or comparable software application.

Must be able to work in Chicago, Il or Norwalk, Ct

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Economics or related discipline.
Two or more years of financial services industry experience.
