The Manager of Market Regulation Employee Learning Initiatives reports directly to the Director of Market Regulation Employee Learning Initiatives' and is responsible for the management and administration of all aspects of learning and development initiatives within Market Regulation that includes successfully branding and marketing, scheduling, tracking, and evaluating all internal training initiatives.
Along with the Director, the Manager will identify, design, and facilitate staff learning initiatives that enhance operational effectiveness and functional expertise. The Manager collaborates with the Director to design, implement, collect and analyze the yearly Training Needs Analysis to determine yearly schedule of initiatives. The Manager collaborates with functional leaders and managers to identify and then design functional learning curriculums along with individual staff development plans. The Manager may facilitate select training sessions as deemed by the Director.
Critical to the Manager's success includes his or her ability to identify and partner with internal subject matter experts (SMEs) and match those SMEs to identified training initiatives to design and facilitate classes and workshops. Critical as well, is the effectiveness of the design and implementation of Systems' Certifications for Market Regulation's core applications. Working with the internal SMEs, the Manager is responsible for determining basic and advanced Systems' functionalities that will provide core content for pre-certification study guides and the Systems' assessment. The Manager conducts post Certification analysis in order to measure student facileness and expertise along with the overall effectiveness of the initiative.
The Manager is also responsible for ensuring that departmental policies and procedures are kept current and are effectively distributed to staff. The Manager will also manage and maintain departmental training content and resources within the Market Regulation Sharepoint site.
The Manager partners with CME's Corporate Professional Development & Organizational Effectiveness team (PDOE) to customize the internal LMS (Knowledge Network) functionality that will accommodate Market Regulations' learning and development needs; identify and promote PDOE sponsored classes when applicable. The Manager also collaborates and partners with other CME departments to schedule and facilitate in-house knowledge workshops/knowledge sharing to Market Regulation staff.
Additionally, critical to the Manager's success is her management of the New Hire Onboarding and Training Program that includes:

• Working with Functional Managers to identify required topics.
• Identifying and pairing appropriate SMEs to facilitate core-training courses.
• Scheduling all sessions within the Knowledge Network and with course facilitators.
• Addressing new employee's individual needs as required.
• Maintaining attendance records.
• Evaluating program effectiveness during and after program completion.
• Adapting, editing or changing Program modules as needed.
• Conducting student skill synthesis and effectiveness analysis one, three and six months post program completion.
