Description

The job holder supports the Information Security Manager to ensure the effectiveness of security-related operations. The job holder must be able to weigh business needs against security concerns and articulate issues to management. S/he provides programming support for an operational area in information security. S/he also assists in the development, implementation and enforcement of corporate-wide Information Security standards, policies and procedures. The job holder implements new versions of software for existing technologies and architectures. S/he also works with various internal and external clients to establish communication, cooperation and compliance related to information security standards. Job also requires 24x7 support.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years experience in information security or related technology experience. Job holder must have experience with hardware, software, practices and technologies for securing information assets. S/he must possess a general knowledge of security systems and applications and be able to enforce and communicate related policies, procedures and guidelines. Job holder must be able to effectively handle multiple tasks simultaneously. S/he must have strong oral and written communication skills and be comfortable working in dynamic environments independently and with all levels of staff. B.S. or B.A. or equivalent work experience required; security certification a plus (CISSP - Certified Information Security Systems Professional or CISA - Certified Information Systems Auditor).
