Job Summary
The
GPS Field Design Engineer will be involved in both field and Lab
testing, but more importantly in GPS performance metrics
creation/evolution, analysis of trace logs and post processing GPS
performance encountered in the field. This includes very early
evaluations of our Prototypes and HW Systems on GPS Systems. RF/OTA
performance testing and analysis will also be part of this role.

Field
Design Engineer - GPS
The GPS Field Design Engineer will be involved in both field and Lab
testing, but more importantly in GPS performance metrics

Must have:
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Systems Engineering, as a
minimum. Master degree is preferred.
- In depth knowledge & experience with GPS and other GNSS
technologies & systems

- Professional communication skills tailored to situation and audience
- Good interpersonal and proven written/verbal communication skills

Education
Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Systems Engineering, as a minimum. Master degree is preferred.
Additional Requirements
Should have:
- Automating post processing tools to parse NMEA data
- Experience with GPS test box as RF Signal Generators, Simulators, etc.
- MATLAB experience
Nice to have:
- Familiarity with AGPS related carrier certification and test suites
- Strong technical knowledge of 3GPP standards
- Strong RF & OTA background
