| Employees in this role are expected to develop new market
strategies and solutions in the Healthcare market where they apply their
subject matter expertise, knowledge and product expertise to develop
new offerings. Working in conjunction with Business Partners to ensure
the most effective routes to market for IBM solutions. You will be
responsible for the total Federal Healthcare market development with one
or more key IBM clients or competitive prospects and you will work on
traditional large accounts, OEMs, alliance partners, business partners,
distributors and end-users of IBM technology. You will also have
responsibility for overall client satisfaction by managing key
relationships and ensuring the client derives value from the IBM
solutions. In this role, it is essential that you are able to apply
healthcare industry-specific knowledge and experience to bring new
business and technology insights to assigned clients. Further responsibilities include: -Manage an open territory to drive new opportunities and expand existing business -Provide subject matter leadership -Move opportunities to closure -Work with other sellers and units of IBM as needed to create an effective solution for the client in the healthcare marketplace -Maintain a thorough understanding of the client’s industry, including industry trends, industry business processes, industry financial measurements and performance indicators, and key client competitors in their industry. -Match IBM solutions to customer requirements and help in selling IBM offerings directly to customers or through IBM Business Partners. Key Attributes: -Must understand Federal Healthcare marketplace, competition and develop appropriate strategies. -Must be effective in teaming with other IBM sales and technical resources to provide complete solutions to customer business requirements. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
