Job Description
The Accounting Team is looking for a credit card transaction coding wizard! We are seeking an energetic and hardworking quick learner to become our new Purchasing Card Clerk. Positive attitude and ownership spirit are a must. Our 9 Core Values must resonate with you loud and clear.  The Purchasing Card Clerk will work closely with the Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to timely and accurately record all transactions from our employee purchasing cards. We have 60 (and counting) employee cardholders so this is no small task. The Purchasing Card Clerk will regularly interact with our employee cardholders to train them, follow up with them to ensure charges are being reported on time, and provide them additional support. This position is super important to help ensure the Accounting Team meets our month end close deadlines.
Responsibilities Include:
  • Perform the purchasing card transactions reconciliation daily
  • Properly code and make ready for import all Concur charges daily and all remaining Amex charges 3 times per month
  • Ensure employee cardholders are reporting their purchases in an accurate and timely manner
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Two years of experience with coding and reporting company purchasing cards
  • Ability to work well with other employees from all departments to educate and motivate
  • An intimate relationship with Excel; V-lookups and advanced formulas
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to review and analyze large amounts of transactional data
  • Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and activities to meet deadlines
Ideal Qualifications:
  • One year experience with Concur
  • Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite)
  • Certified Bookkeeper designation
  • Accounting degree
