IBM is looking for an SAP Technical Architect. The candidate selected for this position will: Be responsible to deliver the best overall strategic system landscape Own the Infrastructure View of the five-year Strategic IT Plan Develop infrastructure plans to support new project delivery and existing production growth Work with internal and external service providers to prepare the technical architecture and the infrastructure for new solutions Work with internal and external service providers to effectively support this architecture and infrastructure during operations Be responsible for designing and integrating technical infrastructure for new solutions to support business application and data needs and architectural standardization Enable performance, security, and integrating technical availability of technical architecture Manage the architecture work in the service planning, build and test and release to production processes Set, maintain, and enforce standards Manage and execute data archiving and forecast infrastructure growth This work is located in New Carrollton, Maryland. Selected candidates may not need to travel for all projects outside of their metro area. However, all candidates must be able and willing to travel based on assigned project demand. Required High School Diploma/GED At least 5 years experience in working as an SAP Technical Architect. Readiness to travel Up to 5 days a week (home on weekends-based on project requirements) U.S. citizenship required English: Basic knowledge

Preferred Bachelor's Degree At least 8 years experience in working as an SAP Technical Architect. Security clearance of National Agency Check (NAC) - Active English : Intermediate
