Description

Statistical Programmer 2  
(Quintiles, Inc., May work at Overland Park, KS headquarters or telecommute from anywhere in the U.S.)
 
  • Program, plan and coordinate the following for complex studies: (i) the programming, testing and documentation of statistical programs for use in creating statistical tables and listing summaries, (ii) the programming of analysis databases and transfers of data for internal and external clients and (iii) the programming of database quality control checks.
  • Create specifications, program, and perform quality control on NONMEM data files including POPPK and PKPD.
  • Program and plan the integration of databases from multiple studies/sources.
  • Develop, plan and coordinate programming documentation including plans and specifications for complex studies.
  • Perform, plan and coordinate the development, implementation and validation of new process technologies, macros and applications.
  • Fulfill project responsibilities at the level of assisting the lead for single complex studies or groups of studies.
  • Provide training/guidance to lower level staff.

Qualifications

 
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or foreign equivalent and two (2) years experience or a Master's degree in Computer Science or related field or foreign equivalent and one (1) year experience.
The experience must include: generating data sets for use in NONMEM software; working with pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic data in support of population pk projects; statistics or clinical drug development process; electronic submissions to include data submission structures and requirements; statistical computing applications such as Base SAS, SAS/STAT and SAS Macro Language.
