Primary Location : USA-North Carolina-Research Triangle Park Organization : USA02 - US Clinical Development Svc  Description   Quintiles’ Digital Patient Unit (DPU) provides patients with information to better manage their personal health and provides them with opportunities to participate in clinical research, observational studies and programs to better manage their conditions.  The DPU is seeking a Digital Strategy Specialist to join their team to assist with customer programs.   Specifically, the Digital Strategy Specialist will: -       Assist in coordination of project activities and digital community management -       Participate in development of digital outreach strategy -       Conduct research into various disease areas, patient populations, resources, and treatment options -       Build relationships with digital partners (Ad networks, forums, bloggers, patient associations) -       Optimize digital media campaigns -       Track and report digital media program metrics -       Manage digital outreach budget -       Stage and test digital communications and websites -       Represent DPU at internal and external meetings as required Qualifications   REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES ·        Must have excellent communication skills ·        Must have above-average digital/Web skills ·        Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office ·        Highly motivated and organized ·        Ability to manage multiple high priority projects ·        Ability to utilize initiative and to work independently, as required ·        Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients   PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES ·         Good working knowledge of clinical research ·         Basic knowledge and understanding of Quintiles clinical systems and procedures ·         Strong knowledge of  patient recruitment tactics, regulatory requirements   MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE •         Bachelor’s Degree Communications, Marketing or other related field and at least 5 years' related experience or equivalent combination of education, training and experience   PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS •         Extensive use of telephone and face-to-face communication requiring accurate perception of speech •         Extensive use of keyboard requiring repetitive motion of fingers •         Regular sitting for extended periods of time •         Occasional travel See https://quintiles.taleo.net/careersection/10080/jobdetail.ftl
