Job Description
The Oracle Solutions Architect will be responsible for the translation of financial business requirements into solution designs on Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS). This person will partner with Business Process Owners to balance the functional and nonfunctional requirements to execute the solution. Individual will be required to provide an in-depth understanding of business needs & provide thought leadership in the adoption of best practices in the use of the system's capabilities. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the understanding, configuration, & use of related Oracle E-Business Suite financial modules for maximum effectiveness on a global basis. Individual will maintain alignment to the architectural principles by minimizing software customizations while providing a solution that will enable a streamlined business process. This person must be a highly organized, self starter who thrives in a fast-paced, complex, global environment; & have proven measurable experience with all aspects of a major system development lifecycle methodology.
Principal Accountabilities

In addition to following McDonald's policies and procedures, principle accountabilities include, but are not limited to:
·  Acts as the primary resource for the one of the four process tracks (Procure to Pay, Acquire to Retire, Bill to Collect, Book to Report) serving as a bridge between our business stakeholders & technology delivery teams.
·  Strong understanding of business architecture methodologies & process modeling in a large organization across multiple functional units.
·  Facilitates requirements gathering sessions & developing appropriate documents as a part of the Software Development Life Cycle (Business & Functional design, Use Case & Process diagrams, Test Cases etc.).
·  Provides Gap Fit analysis, proposal of recommendations, & conduct independent architecture reviews (core functionality, enhancement, etc.)
·  Participates in peer validation of functional designs & approve technical designs.
·  Develops application diagrams, configurations, application specific data standards, system maps, & integration strategies.
·  Assists with the prioritization of system enhancements by defining the optimal global design by leveraging the capabilities of the system & least amount of customization.
·  Responsible for performing analysis and design activities
·  Building effective relationships with Business Process Owners.
·  Delivers solutions in a team environment that fosters trust & respect across IT and our functional & business process partners.
·  Participates as an advisor in architecting & design of future enterprise solutions.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum_Requirements :
·  B.S. in Information Systems or related field.
·  8+ years of experience implementing and/or supporting Oracle Financials (recent R12 experience required) in a complex, multinational, multi GAAP environment.
·  6+ years of experience in the full life-cycle of large scale Oracle implementations.
·  6+ years Oracle Application configuration & set-up experience with multiple modules within the financial suite.
·  2+ years Oracle application configuration & set-up experience with Sub-ledger Accounting & GRC Controls Suite.
·  Demonstrated track record of the successful implementation & upgrade of major financial ERP projects.
·  Excellent leadership, communication, presentation, analytical & problem solving skills required.
·  Ability to gain the respect of external system integrator resources & provide effective oversight of their performance.
·  Proven experience implementing localizations for Asia/Pacific & Europe.
·  Ability to understand & analyze complex financial concepts & processes.
·  Proven Communication skills with the ability to build strong partnership with business clients & technology teams to deliver solutions (e.g. written, verbal, presentation skills).
·  Ability to grasp technical concepts quickly, strong ability to translate technical verbiage into easily understandable language for non-technical audiences.
·  Broad & general technical knowledge, as well as deep competences in infrastructure, data models, requirements analysis, service orientation; good understanding of enterprise, business process, & application architecture.
·  Ability to analyze change requests to determine feasibility in relation to existing business requirements, processes, & data models.
·  Experience creating test strategy & test plan documents as well as executing tests with attention to details.
·  Up to 15-25% travel as required (domestic & international).
