The Sr.  IT Project Manager position will plan, supervise and manage multiple small to medium size projects that may be undertaken at local, regional or global levels. These projects will be performed in collaboration with project team members and stakeholders across the organization. The incumbent is expected be able to deliver, within the constraints of scope, quality, time and cost, complete IT projects solutions utilizing the corporate Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes.
Specific responsibilities may include:
·               Risk Management
·               Project communication
·               Stakeholder management
·               Implement mitigation plans
·               Track and report project financials
·               Overall responsibility for project deliverables

Qualifications

 
Skills/Qualifications
 
  • BS degree strongly preferred
  • Ability to understand and take ownership of resolving technical issues, mitigate risks and also handle related business communications effectively
  • Able to adapt to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Effectively manage scope and related project deliverables in a highly Agile / fast pace delivery environment
  • Well-developed oral and written communication skills
  • Organizing - ability to marshal resources (people - internal and external vendors), orchestrate multiple activities at once to accomplish a goal, use resources effectively and efficiently
  • Business Acumen - understand how business works; maintain awareness of clinical research industry
  • 5+ years of strong IT Project Management Leadership
  • Microsoft SharePoint and Project Server knowledge a plus
  • PMP certification a plus
