The Director of Business Development – Travel Vertical will be responsible for delivering top line revenue through Sales in the Travel space, including prospects within the travel agent, tour operator, cruise, and rail industries. This role is part of a newly created team focused on quickly increasing American Express’ market share and making Amex the clear leader in the industry.

Qualifications

A successful candidate for the Director of Business Development – Travel Vertical will have demonstrated the following:

1. Superior Sales and Relationship-Building Skills: An impactful candidate will have demonstrated highly-developed sales, relationship management and consultation skills including but not limited to pipeline prioritization, prospecting and proven experience successfully negotiating contracts. In addition, because this role will focus on selling vPayment, experience selling within a highly evolving technology-driven environment is preferred. Strong collaborative skills to engage with colleagues on our team as well as internal partner teams are also highly valued.

2. Industry Knowledge: Because of the focused nature of this position, a deep and broad knowledge of Expense Management, Payments, and Procurement environments will be critical. Also preference will be given to candidates who have experience selling within the travel industry to buyers and suppliers, and/or experience working with vPayment. A strong understanding of the key drivers of profitability for American Express and our customers are also important to get to a successful sell.

3. Creative Solution Development: Creative problem solving and the ability to challenge the status quo are also key attributes of a successful candidate. Candidates should have the desire and patience to work ‘outside the norm’ by demonstrating American Express’s differentiated value proposition internally and externally to drive adoption and support. The team will be responsible for identifying solutions to drive sustainable growth and further communicate our competitive advantage on an on-going basis.

4. Ability to Manage Complexity: Each deal has many moving parts and the successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to manage multiple work streams internally and externally to drive deals forward. Candidates must have demonstrated analytical, financial, and process skills.

Job Summary

Job Summary
This person's primary responsibility is new and existing sales to AT&T accounts. Sales are approached as a GM mindset - the sales individual has overarching responsibility to maintain customer satisfaction. This person will have extensive experience with direct sales, negotiations and leading internal teams. Position Overview
                                                                                                                                  
The OS Routing team is chartered with delivering common routing stacks deployed in multiple products across Ericsson’s product lines. This will allow for uniform network management, full interoperability between Ericsson products. This will eliminate redundancies and inefficiencies, and add savings from non-duplication of features across different stacks.

Responsibilities & Qualifications
  • Planning, developing and executing manual and automated system test plans, including system, robustness, stability, scalability, reliability, stress, performance and longevity measures. Work with internal customer teams to capture deployment scenario’s and network topologies.
  • Participate in defect analysis, defect slip and root cause evaluation, study the customer / product functionality impact, suggest work around methods for the observed defect.
  • Strong technical leader with hands on experience in routing, switching Carrier Ethernet, MPLS technologies.
  • Ability to demonstrate proficiency in designing automated and manual test cases to validate Interoperability for various L2/L3 protocols with other network gear from Cisco, Juniper.
  • Capable of mentoring people in different technology areas.
  • Able to develop test scenarios and field deployment scenarios to validate the product as per the requirements and quality standards.
  • Good knowledge of Router/Switch architecture
  • Solid understanding of IP and TCP/UDP/ICMP protocols (including header contents and protocol flow concepts)
  • Good knowledge of L2 and L3 protocols
  • Rich experience in QoS (L2 and L3) testing
  • Hands on experience in validating OAM functionality
  • Experience in testing features using CLI, NetConf and SNMP (knowledge on other standard interfaces preferred)
  • Experience in using Traffic Generating tools like Agilent, IXIA
  • Experience in using packet sniffing tools like Ethereal and Wireshark
  • Deep understanding of Automation infrastructure and scripting skills
  • Rich knowledge of QA testing methodologies and experience in performing various testing activities like Sanity, Functional, System, Regression, Acceptance, Stress, Performance and Scalability
