Description
As
a member of the SAS Advanced Analytics Lab (AAL), you will support
customer analytic business needs through data discovery, analysis,
reporting, and presentation.
You will participate in end-to-end customer analytic requirements, which will include identifying data analysis needs, processing and exploring client data, translating business requirements into analytic methods, building analytic models, developing analysis reports, and presenting reports to customers. Your duties will also include developing data quality procedures, assisting in quality assurance efforts for all AAL projects, automating analytic processes, and other duties as assigned.

Special Position Note:
This position will support customers who, due to strict security and
data protection requirements, will require regular screening of any
individuals working with secure data. This includes periodic drug
screens and background checks.
Qualifications
Essential
• Master's degree in statistics, applied mathematics, or a related quantitative field
• 2 years of experience in data analysis or analytical consulting
• 2 years of experience with the SAS System
• Ability to travel 25% of the time as business needs dictate.

• Experience with probabilistic linkage of large data sets
• Experience with Link or Social Network Analysis (e.g., Detica, I2 and other related software)
• Experience with analytic and business approaches related to fraud detection
