Primary contact for moderately complex technical issues; demonstrated development as internal consultant is required to progress. Individuals in this position advise others on the completion of complex systems analysis, programming, or systems administration tasks, lead moderately complex projects, serve as technical lead in a work group or on project teams, work under severe deadlines and workload, and given general objectives, determine and complete tasks with a high degree of independence. Primary Accountabilities include: Primary technical contact assisting with the creation, support, and maintenance of moderately complex systems; Internal consultant on intricate analysis and systems administration tasks; lead technically involved projects; Work under extreme task loads with full understanding of client business organization, practices, and requirements; Given general objectives, determine tasks and work with a high degree of independence; act to prevent errors; Represent organization; serve as primary organizational contact on technically difficult projects; Work directly with senior management to solve complex technical problems related to specific business issues; Promote work group development; guide and assist to improve understanding of business and technical processes. This is a senior AS/400 Administrator position that involves supporting Alcon IBM i / Power Systems platform running JDE World, One World, and several ancillary applications; position requires strong AS400 administration skills in the areas of system and application security, monitoring, and DB2/400 optimization. Minimum requirements	Bachelor’s degree in information systems, business administration, computer science, or equivalent technical field OR equivalent technical training English At least 5 years of experience in iSeries/JDE security administration, DB2/400 SQL tuning, and strong CL programming required; extensive hands-on experience with security tool Detect!It and monitoring tool MPLUS is a must; ability to develop and document iSeries security reports for SOX compliance; familiarity with Mimix replication and support for replication with respect to security and monitoring; excellent written and verbal communication skills to develop technical specifications and procedures and processes to support various job functions; Mimix; ability to conduct testing that thoroughly exercises the functionality of implemented design; excellent time management skills to juggle production support tasks as well as project implementation tasks without missing deadlines; able to handle project management of medium size project among multiple divisions, affiliates, organizations or facilities; familiarity with technical trends and/or emerging technologies; Computer Science degree preferred; 3 years of additional AS400 security administration experience acceptable in lieu of college degree; familiarity with EMC SRDF and BCV technologies a plus; prior experience in pharma or related industries dealing with regulatory requirements a strong plus; iSeries Security Certification is a strong plus;                                                                                              Apply
