Job Description	Complete account analysis and/or account reconciliations Prepare accruals, prepaids and other journal entries as required Participate in the preparation and review of government reports Provide tax accounting support as required Month-end financial closing and reporting process Responsible for the delivery of service levels and SLA/KPI targets for the Accounting function. Ensure Accounting policies, processes and operating procedures are clearly defined, in line with Group standards, up to date and documented. Resolve Accounting related issues or escalate as required Ensure all Accounting processes comply with Novartis standards and policies (i.e. global processes, Novartis Accounting Manual, Novartis Financial Controls Manual, Manage-ment Authorization Levels, etc.). As required.
Minimum requirements	Undergraduate degree in Accounting and/or Finance required, Advanced degree in Finance, Accounting or Business preferred CPA and/or CMA is preferred Continuous Improvement training preferred (i.e. Six Sigma) English. Knowledge of IFRS (GAAP), accounting and financial reporting requirements, Enterprise systems knowledge (SAP) Significant experience in financial accounting and reporting, auditing and financial process engineering, with record of strong control focus 2+ years of Financial experience, preferably in Big 4 public accounting, and the healthcare industry Experience working on process improvement projects preferred Experience working in an outsourcing and/or shared services environment would be an asset                                    Apply
