Provide Regulatory analysis and reporting support to management including collecting, reconciling and validating data with ~$200 billion of debts and ~$200 billion notional of derivatives for Debt & Derivative Controllership team.
Role Summary/Purpose Continued: Within this role he or she will be 1. Engaging with and providing analysis and support to Regulatory team leadership, 2. Identifying and executing process improvements and working independently on tasks. 3. Evaluating complex situations using multiple sources of data and analytical skills.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
  • Timely collection of Regulatory Reporting within area of focus
  • Preparation of work papers to support regulatory reporting
  • Perform detailed validation work on the data collected and address or escalate further any unexpected results or inconsistencies in data.
  • Verify prepare Regulatory Reporting utilizing provided tools for assigned areas
  • Communicate results to manager and provide visibility into details of underlying work.
  • Drive operational excellence in above areas and offer solutions to further enhance processes.
  • Drive the remediation of current data / process gaps
  • Identify and implement simplification and automation opportunities
  • Apply solid knowledge of Finance concepts and principles to Regulatory Reporting.
  • May be responsible for providing direction to other team members
  • Perform analytical review including variance analysis for purposes of team and management assessment of accuracy of regulatory filings.
  • Assist with other reporting / operational controllership tasks
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum 2 years Controllership or Financial Planning and Analysis
  • Experience with the closing and reporting process
  • Proficient use of financial systems and analysis tools to include Microsoft Excel

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.
  • CPA, Master’s degree, or equivalent certification.
  • Experience with Regulatory Reporting.
  • Financial Management Program / Corporate Audit Staff graduate.
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills and ability to work cross functionally at all levels.
  • Experience working in complex corporate environments (i.e., multiple systems, multiple products / businesses, multiple reporting environments, multiple GAAPs, multiple regulatory, legal or country jurisdictions.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities
