Essential Responsibilities    

    Develop both ad hoc and production reporting to support the
    needs of Retail Finance collections functions
    Provide reporting & analytic support on key business
    initiatives and develop a good understanding of all data systems.
    Consult with process owners to understand specific reporting
    and analysis needs
    Perform SAS/analytical programming, data management and
    quality control
    Extract, manipulate, and merge large databases to create analytical
    datasets. Convert and merge data from a wide variety of sources across platforms.
    Perform analytical tasks using SAS or other analytical tools
    Implement comprehensive quality checking and validation
    process
    Deliver daily, weekly and monthly production reports
    Communicate relevant observations to collections
    leadership/process owners
    Create and maintain documentation on processes &
    reporting supported
    Partners with process owners in establishing procedures and
    requirements to ensure accurate and timely delivery with regulatory and compliance standards
    maintained
    Learn and incorporate new types of data from internal &
    external sources across Collections to improve management information & ensure compliance

Qualifications/Requirements    

    Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a financial services, collections,
    operations or customer service setting or a High School diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years’
    experience
    in a financial service, collections, operations or customer service setting
    2+ years proficient with Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Access
    Experience in working with data to identify key trends and insights in a business or educational
    setting
    insights
    1+years’ experience SAS programming – SAS Base /
    SAS Stats / SAS Macros

    Experience in working with large volumes of data from multiple data sources and in analyzing data to identify key trends and insights
    Exposure to SAS EG, SAS BI and working in Unix environment
    Exposure to SQL tools
    Certifications or documented experience using SAS/SQL
    Exposure to Business Objects
    Financial/Collections knowledge
    Six Sigma experience
    Strong attention to detail, accuracy and precision
    Excellent interpersonal communication skills
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including technical writing skills
    Able to work independently and work well under tight deadlines
