Job Description
Global Workforce Solutions (GWS) maximizes the value of McDonald's workforce and protects the brand through a single point of access for external workforce needs. The GWS vision is to be regarded as subject matter experts in the area of external workforce compliance and utilization strategies.
This is a great opportunity for an individual to gain a broad perspective of McDonald's and North America Shared Services (NASS) by leading the Global Workforce Solutions (GWS) and Short Term Administrative Team (STAT). GWS maximizes the value of McDonald's workforce and protects the brand through a single point of access for external workforce needs. GWS provides subject matter expertise in the area of external workforce compliance and utilization strategies at McDonald's.
STAT manages an internal pool of experienced administrative resources that provide short term administrative support for McDonald's administrative assistants who are on vacations, sabbaticals, leave of absence, etc.
Key customers and stakeholders include McDonald's Department Leaders, Human Resources, Legal, Finance, IT, Sourcing, Internal Audit and external partners.
Responsibilities
· Providing direction and leadership to 6 direct reports and up to 20 indirect reports to exceed customer satisfaction and meet department objectives
· Setting priorities to provide the highest levels of customer satisfaction, optimal efficiencies, and employee commitment
· Leading the development, execution, and continuous improvement of the GWS and STAT team's vision, mission, strategies, and tactics
· Analyzing external trend information to proactively identify and develop initiatives that will ensure McDonald's is a leader in the effective utilization and compliance of their external workforce and short term administrative resources
· Continuous improvement of the VMS Beeline solution, including configurations that ensure controls are executed properly, enhancements that optimize the customer experience, and reporting mechanisms that provide relevant data. Developing and implementing quarterly business reviews with high utilization departments
· Facilitating organizational transparency and strategic decisions by effectively managing the Executive Governance Board and Leadership Steering Committee.
· Developing and managing the budget for GWS and STAT
· Cultivating GWS & STAT strategic supplier relationships
· Recruiting, interviewing, hiring, motivating, rewarding, recognizing and retaining a diverse group of talented individuals based on department goals and objectives
Minimum Requirements
· Bachelor's degree in related field
· 10+ years of Leadership experience
· Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
· Ability to influence decisions at all levels within the organization
· Ability to achieve results with others in a fast paced environment
· Possess a high energy level, sense of urgency, decisiveness and ability to work well under pressure
· Strong appreciation for customer service and collaboration
· Knowledge of Project Management discipline
