Responsibilities

• Design and develop cutting e-commerce applications using Microsoft technology stack
• Develop robust, secure, scalable code for a high-availability, high-volume system.
• Collaborate with agile teams to understand customer scenarios, analyze requirements and/or user stories, plan, determine technical approach and design
• Contribute to moving the team forward in leading edge processes like continuous integration, continuous delivery and test driven development.
• Respond to mission-critical software problems in a rapid and high-quality fashion when needed
• Collaborate and provide mentorship with team members for continuous improvement in an agile development environment
• Demonstrated ability to be a team player as well as an independent performer
• Work with defect tracking, source code control and software release systems to ensure high-quality software releases over time
• Perform peer code reviews and provide constructive feedback
• On-call production support after-hours

 

 

Minimum Qualifications 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience
• 8+ years of working in software development
• 8+ years Programming experience in .NET (C#), C++, SQL, JavaScript
• Demonstrated experience in a rapid development environment
• Proficiency in the following: REST, ASP.NET MVC3, HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery
• Proficient designing and coding with  HTML5/Ajax/CSS/JS

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field
• A solid foundation in computer science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design
• Significant development experience in .Net (C#), SQL, and Java
• Knowledge of WCF, XML, Web Oriented Architecture, and SOA frameworks desired
• Git, GitHub, Dynatrace, Splunk, Stash, and JIRA experience
• Proficiency with software engineering practices, data modeling, objected oriented analysis & design, design patterns and algorithms.
• Perform code reviews and provide mentorship throughout the team
• Experience with test driven development and performance tuning a plus
• Experience working with diverse, collaborative, cross-functional teams
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
