compensation. The Service Sales Specialist sells complex services into an assigned territory, to a list of named accounts or both. The Service Sales Specialist represents a subset of the GE Healthcare portfolio, selling specific product and/or service lines. The Service Sales Specialist may work individually at an account, or as part of a One GE Healthcare team. | |
The
Service Sales Specialist is the clinical/technical expert for his/her
assigned products and/or services, and is expected to be able to
differentiate GE’s product offerings, convey compelling value
propositions, lead opportunities, develop and present solutions
proposals and quotations, close complex clinical/technical sales and
respond to customers’ clinical/technical questions.
Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to): • Create business and/or territory plan for assigned accounts including, but not limited to opportunity development, competitive strategies and installed base targets. • Contribute to account plans at accounts covered by a One GE Healthcare account team. • Create and maintain opportunities in the applicable sales funnel tool • Work with sales leaders and account teams to increase prospects and drive closure of opportunities to meet sales, orders, and margin targets. • Provide training to all account team members on strategy and product offerings. • Make cold calls to potential customers where required. • Provide pricing strategy and ensure pricing compliance for segment opportunities. • Estimate date of delivery to customer based on knowledge of the company's production and delivery schedules. • Forecast orders and sales for assigned territory/products and submitting monthly reports. • Represent the company at trade association meetings to promote product and company. | |
• Bachelors Degree or minimum 5 years of selling experience in a medical, healthcare or technical field or Life Sciences field
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Excellent organizational skills • Strong presentation skills • Able to travel • Valid motor vehicle license | |
