Microsoft Office 365 Engineer – a seasoned technology professional familiar with the Microsoft Office 365 Environment. This role will be accountable for working across multiple service and technology providers to develop and execute standard approaches for engineering an Office 365 environment for a large corporation. This role is also responsible for engineering, continuous improvement activities, industry standards, product direction and road mapping for Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft Lync. This role will work with I/T organizations across the System to ensure effective solutions, standards and processes are adhered to. The position has accountability to ensure effective product selection, technology direction and execution leadership necessary to provide a high level of end-point management technology direction and services. Extensive knowledge of Microsoft collaboration technologies and product expertise is required
- Defining the technology environment in Office 365 including Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft Lync
- Establishing and communicating the mission, goals and objectives to all stakeholders
- Resolving any global, cross-functional or work-team issues
- Defining key management routines and governance strategy to ensure effective business process execution
- Ensuring consistent execution of the engineering solution and process across departments and suppliers
- Reporting and trending on the effectiveness of the solutions and standards to senior management;
- Initiating any process improvement initiatives required to improve effectiveness within the given discipline
- Work across the enterprise to ensure effective coordination and alignment with other supporting initiatives across the Company
- Initiate improvements in tools, requirements gathering, processes, and people
Experience: At least 9 years of Information Technology or related experience.
Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred or related work experience

Technical Skills:
Microsoft Office 365 (dedicated and shared) experience; specific knowledge of Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft Lync - ability to ensure that all technology solutions and components are designed and delivered to meet their targets in terms of business needs. Technology to Business/Business to Technology: Ability to translate technical information for a business audience and business information for a technical audience.
- Linkage between Microsoft Office and Microsoft Office 365, network and server proficiency and all required infrastructure components necessary to support an effective global solution.
- Value Proposition: Knowledge of change management procedures used to demonstrate the benefits (e.g., financial) of an effective IT solution.
- Project Management: Ability to use appropriate tools and techniques to plan secure resources for opportunities to eliminate recurring problems, communicating trends, providing analytical support to the business, defining metrics, and creating business cases for improvement projects
- Person responsible for engineering the business process and for overseeing the cross functional performance of the business process
- Coordinate people, process, and technology tools necessary to execute process initiatives
- Business Partner Knowledge: Knowledge of business partners (such as customer, bottler, service agent, supplier) in their context: industry trends and competitive pressures, strategies and plans, organizational structure, decision-making process, contacts, technology infrastructure and systems.

- IS Standards and Tools: Knowledge of and ability to apply the standards, procedures and tools of the Business Systems and Information Infrastructure functions in order to efficiently execute all support and development work activities.
- Technology Architecture & Standards Knowledge: Knowledge of the Company's technology architecture standards, including architecture segments, segment architects and standard technology solutions.
- Determine integration issues between the various processes and work in a matrix environment to gain agreement and implement change
