Manager, Multinational Account Development-13017200
Description
The Manager, Multinational Account Development is responsible for managing a portfolio of large multinational clients. The position reports to the Director, Multinational Account Development and will drive result through multiple global relationship and support teams as well as colleagues across the Blue Box.
- Serve as the central point person for multinational accounts and coordinate with colleagues around the world to resolve issue and manage the program
- Effectively collaborate both internally and with customers around the world
- Successfully navigate and resolve complex client issues in multiple markets
- Build and execute comprehensive, global goal achievement plans that will achieve accounts growth, entrenchment and retention targets through the application of consultative, global payment expertise
- Drive entrenchment and expansion of global programs by identifying new applications for products, implementing solutions, designing and supporting supplier enrollment strategy, and performing process analyses
- Serve as consultants to their clients across the globe, using in-depth knowledge of their clients’ business and American Express offerings
- Proactively manage an effective pipeline and identify global opportunities for growth
- Effectively deploy AXP data, resources and tools to deliver value, grow volume and deepen client relationships globally
Qualifications
- Results-oriented with proven track record and demonstrated ability to multi-task and operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Strong customer focus and collaboration skills
- In-depth payment systems industry knowledge
- Excellent verbal and written communication including professional presentation skills and ability to interact effectively internally and externally at all levels of an organization
- Ability to effectively manipulate and understand business financials
- Strong planning and project management skills
- Self-directed, enthusiastic team player
- Technical skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- College degree preferred or minimum 5 years applicable industry experience
