We foster a creative environment where employees feel empowered to put their best ideas forward and forge their own career path.   Working with the latest technology, collaborating with the best and brightest in the field, expanding your knowledge and honing your skills—all are key components of unmatched career satisfaction as a member of the John Deere product engineering team.   What You'll Do As a Product Owner for John Deere Intelligent Solutions Group (ISG) located in Urbandale, IA, you will manage a software scrum team backlog.  In addition, you will: Collaborate with Engineering Delivery Lead(s) to understand customer requirements. Facilitate the story breakdown for a feature, providing clarification to scrum teams for story estimates, and assist with sprint loading and story sequencing. Coordinate dependencies with other product owners. Create the scrum team's specific objectives for the upcoming iteration. Create user story acceptance criteria and ultimately accept user stories. Enforce the Definition of Done. Coordinate the sprint feature demo for key program stakeholders. What It Takes   We need an excellent communicator, both verbal and written, who thrives on solving problems and working in a team environment.  Ideally, you will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Ag Engineering or equivalent experience in a related career field.   We also require: 5+ years of experience in product engineering. 2+ years of experience defining/documenting business requirements. 2+ years of experience with software design/build/test processes. 2+ years of experience with feature planning and release management. A strong candidate will also have: Experience with Agile development methodologies. Demonstrated ability to influence without authority and work collaboratively with cross-functional team members. Experience working with sourced and/or offshore development teams.
