What You'll Do
As a Delivery Lead – Mobile Applications for John
Deere Intelligent Solutions Group (ISG) located in Urbandale, IA, you
will plan and execute a program’s incremental delivery. As a Delivery
Lead you will:
- Facilitate the program breakdown into customer and technical features, providing clarification to product owners for feature estimates, and assist with release loading and feature sequencing.
- Collaborate with Marketing to understand customer needs and requirements.
- Collaborate with Product Team on feature release criteria and ultimately accepting features.
- Provide continuous feedback during feature development.
- Coordinate dependencies with other business units.
- Create the program's specific objectives for the upcoming release.
- Coordinate the release demo for key program stakeholders.
What It Takes
We need an excellent communicator, both verbal and written, who
thrives on solving problems and working in a team environment. Ideally,
you will have a Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering discipline or
equivalent experience in a related career field.
We also require:
- 5+ years of experience in software development or system engineering.
- 5+ years of experience defining/documenting business requirements.
- 2+ years of experience in managing program delivery and appropriate risks.
- Strong leadership skills for indirect staff.
- Decision making skills as it relates to complex system interactions and issues.
A strong candidate will also have:
- A farm background or work in the Ag industry.
- Technical experience in mobile application development.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to influence without authority and work collaboratively with cross-functional team members.
- Supervisory experience.
