Job Summary

Consider joining a dynamic SWAT oriented systems team focused on identifying and closing out system level electrical issues leading to ramp/post-ramp of new products. The ideal candidate possesses experience with technical diagnostics, board/systems level design, comfortable with a variety of diagnostics tools and structured problem solving. Strong leadership stills a must. Familiarity with Apple design process and tools is a plus. This is a highly visible IC role requiring hands-on / do'er types that may travel up to 30% domestic/international. Will be required to regularly present to executive staff on status of issues. This is an individual contributor engineering position. The job entails utilizing and leading cross-functional groups to continually push the envelope for rapid resolution of a variety of issues relating to Apple desktop products.

Key Qualifications

  • Debugging and verification of circuits and systems
  • Experience with various communications protocols USB, Ethernet, PCI, and analog interface, wireless protocols, Bluetooth (802.11 a plus)
  • CPU, Graphics, Audio, Wireless and high speed I/O integration
  • Familiar with PCB physical design, EMC fundamentals, test and manufacturing.
  • Must have hands-on experience in debugging, functional verification and manufacturing support
  • Experience with analog, high speed digital and system design

Education
