DESCRIPTION & REQUIREMENTS: |
The position is responsible for the supervision of Credit Card Programs & T&E Audit staff including the hiring, training, assigning and directing the work flow of the staff. The position is also responsible for planning, organizing and control of process flow and adherence to TravelSmart policies and procedures. In addition, the TravelSmart Supervisor gathers and reports on the department's processing metrics including determining relevant statistical data to measure. This position requires regular communication to internal and external customers, proposals to management for process improvement solutions, ad-hoc report development for special projects and oversees the month end closing process including approval of journal entries and account reconciliations.
Function Specific Activities:
- Assist Department Manager in accomplishing departmental goals and objectives.
- Be motivated to identify ways to increase efficiency and effectiveness of the department.
- Supervise members of the staff in order to expand efficiency and ensure processes are compliant with company guidelines.
- Monitor metrics to ensure issue resolution is tracking to expectations and work load is properly distributed.
- Provide ongoing employee training and cross training.
- Provide periodic reporting to internal customers; perform month-end close
duties. - Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures and monitor compliance through routine review of associates work.
- Responsible for the administration of North America credit card services.
- Monitors employees with high volumes of unattached transactions and follows-up on past due expense reports.
- Provides client support such as monthly postings, balances and details of variances
- Provides reporting requests for P-Card data and Minority Supplier to Tax and Audit department.
- Assists as back-up for Credit Card Coordinator.
- Performs P-Card Audits.
- Manages the Card Acceptance program.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
Related Work Experience:
At least 3 years in some type of leadership role.
