Be a top gun and join the Rational Security Competency Team doing some of the most fun, rewarding, and exciting work in the industry!! The Team serves as the focal point for application security expertise for the Rational Brand, covering the entire product life cycle: planning, development, testing, and incident response. The primary focus of this job will be Penetration Testing, with other duties as assigned. As a member of the Team you will assist product developers in understanding the mechanics of vulnerabilities, how to exploit them, and how to remediate them. Team members also assist with security scan validation, and become expert at dynamic and static scanning tools. As a white hat penetration tester your time will be spent finding security vulnerabilities in target systems, networks, and applications in order to help improve system security. This job will require using a wide variety of techniques including: Black Box and White box techniques, network and system reconnaissance, social engineering, use of penetration testing tools and frameworks, the writing of custom code and scripts to execute attacks, and the use of your skills to exploit and compromise targets. By identifying flaws that can be exploited to cause business risk the penetration tester fills a crucial role in the security of IBM Rational Software. Required Associate's Degree/College Diploma Basic knowledge in Penetration Tester / Ethical Hacker Certified in IT English: Fluent

Preferred Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology At least 6 months experience in Penetration Tester / Ethical Hacker
