Job description
The SVI Special Bid Approver will become a subject matter expert in all aspects of the Value Recognition for SVI initiative, working with SWG volume pricers, IBM sales reps, and SVI team members.


Primary daily responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Reviewing SQO tool for Special Bids submissions to determine eligibility status, comparing submissions against existing SVI approved registrations
• Communicate with IBM teams to notify them of Special Bid eligibility status: approved, rejected or denied
• Resolve Bid issues as required
• Educate IBM teams on SVI Special Bid process to promote understanding and drive compliance
• Work with extended teams within IBM to facilitate quick approvals of special bid submissions.
• Timely and accurate assessments of partner issues. Engages appropriate teams to resolve compliance, registrations, approvals, and payment issues to Business Partner satisfaction.
• Manage daily work queues to meet service level standards
• Work with peers on delegated projects as assigned by management
• Availability to work extended hours during peak periods, such as month and quarter close. This could include late nights, weekends and during holidays

Attributes:
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and provide timely and accurate deliverables. Uses tools and knowledge to gain efficiencies, works independently, and displays confidence in decision making.
• Written and verbal communications skills; ability to concisely communicate program details and requirements to IBM bid sponsors.
Required
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 4 years experience in Business Operations
  • English: Fluent
