Sales Director, Enterprise Solutions is a sales
leadership position that will help accelerate enterprise solutions
sales and build new, more comprehensive enterprise solutions selling
capabilities within the individual business units.
Identify,
lead, advise and coach key sales talent within business unit and
facilitate comprehensive knowledge transfer of both enterprise solutions
product offerings and enterprise solutions selling best practices
Help drive new enterprise solutions sales activities at
GE’s top customers and prospects, modeling best practice selling
methodologies to help create and close new enterprise solutions
opportunities
Gather specific and actionable customer feedback that our
SW COE can use to ensure alignment of requirements and roadmaps to meet
specific and broad customer needs
Help drive process to get key customers to visit our SW COE
for design thinking sessions / workouts to better connect our SW COE to
our critical customer needs
Participate on Fastworks and TenX teams for key offering launches
Help guide the development of each business units overall
product offering portfolio as well as the GE sales enablement tool kits
based on customer feedback, key CIO pain points, feedback from
individual GE sales professionals and your GE field selling experiences
Help evangelize Predictivity / Predix / GE SW capabilities
and vision across the business unit’s selling teams and throughout the
end customer CIO community
Be a leader who provides usable end customer and GE sales
team feedback that enables us to incorporate new business model thinking
into our selling efforts to modify and redirect sales strategy as
appropriate
Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing or related discipline
Minimum 10 years in Software sales and/or sales leadership experience
Significant expertise in customer / market-facing software sales positions as both individual contributor and sales leader
Ability to build deep trust with internal teammates and end customer executives
Strong desire to train and enable sales professionals to
embrace and use solution selling approaches that compel end customers to
adopt and implement software to solve more strategic, comprehensive,
mission critical problems
Desire and ability to lead, advise, coach and mentor sales
professionals through a process of hands on training and real world
“joint” selling
Technical acumen to interface with technologists,
understand complex concepts and translate in a way that businesses or
industry can understand
Experience working with, creating and executing customer and/or commercial value propositions
