    Originates and structures Inventory Finance transactions within the Marine Industry. Individual will be responsible for an assigned target market to develop new business, and retain and penetrate existing business.

  • Develops and executes strategies to drive growth, retention and profitability of accounts and optimize market penetration.
  • Drives wing-to-wing sales process including customer prospecting, lead generation, making sales calls, analyzing data, preparing proposals and credit packages, negotiating price or other terms.
  • Works with Sales Manager to ensure adequate market coverage while building consultative relationship with customers.
  • Ability to leverage sales force automation tools and ecommerce capabilities to prioritize account opportunities, minimize customer attrition and effectively manage the assigned territory.
  • Basic Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree required (or high school diploma/GED and a minimum of 3 years of sales experience)
  • Minimum of 2 years of sales experience (or minimum of 2 years of transactional experience in financial services).
  • Comprehensive knowledge of industry-related financial analysis, Asset Based Lending, Risk assessment and legal principles and analysis.
  • Strong working knowledge of how the Distribution Finance market works or knowledge of Marine Industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to use Salesforce.com in managing customer prioritization and account planning
