The responsibilities of this role will include
Recovery System configuration/coding/testing and will work closely with
Recovery Operations and GE IT to insure account treatment strategies are
logically structured and compliant with GE and government regulations.
Assist in managing the overall Recovery System including host and converted systems.
Responsible for the management and documentation of changes
made to the application, configuration, system parameters, end of night
processing, upgrades, user licenses, credit bureaus
Assist the team in working with GE IT and the business to
resolve issues relative to RMS NG and create the supporting
documentation and escalating process to resolve any issues.
Reconcile day to day host and GL feeds to ensure the system maintains its data integrity
Resolve supplier interface issues related to configurations, file generation, transmission, rejection and data content
Test software upgrades and rewrite hotfixes according to documented specifications
Make recommendations to senior leaders regarding
streamlining business requirements and develop process automatic between
business objectives and technical processes
Assist on cross-functional, cross-organizational projects
Identify qualitative analysis of system shortfalls and
provide communication summaries to affected parties on problem
resolution.
Partner with various IT functions to remain apprised of project status and timelines to update management of project progress.
Bachelor’s
degree or high school diploma/GED and a minimum of 3 years of
experience, including AS/400 or system configuration/coding
Strong pc skills, excel, access, Microsoft office, PowerPoint all clear, Visio and word
Must be willing to travel up to 5% of the time
2+ years of AS/400 including demonstrated knowledge of the data query tool in an AS/400 application
2+ years SQL experience
2+ years expertise documenting processes.
