Role provides day to day tactical analytics support for Belk. Responsible for developing actionable analyses and accurate preparation of management-level and adhoc reports utilizing queries from the multiple reporting systems and customer information collected from across the business segments.
  • Be responsible for executing, implementing and/or running weekly direct marketing programs in support of Belk client needs. Campaigns will be focused not just on credit customers but overall retail strategies.
  • Execute direct mail campaigns with responsibility for pulling files/ lists and providing backend analysis.
  • Work directly with Belk Retail partner and their CRM Director.
  • Provide expertise on experimental test design, perform exploratory data analyses, and contribute to the development/enhancement of campaign execution.
  • Maintaining and distributing the weekly and monthly reports to client
  • Perform advance exploratory data analysis and communicate results to business users.
  • Provide analysis support for ad hoc requests and communicate results.
  • Develop segmentation methodology for optimizing customer communications
  • Responsible for file pulls to identify appropriate customer targeting strategy.
  • Work with marketing to manage and implement acquisition, retention and activation test plans.
  • Work closely with retail partner to execute campaigns targeting - corporate & vendor specific.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or in lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree, a High School Diploma / GED and 3+ years of direct marketing experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in analytics and/or direct marketing campaign execution
    Experience with analytic tools such as SAS, SQL and OLAP tools
  • Minimum of 12 months SQL & Segmentation experience
  • Minimum of 12 months File identification and pulling of customer data experience
  • Microsoft Office Suite required
