Provide ongoing support to Manufacturing Execution Systems and their related components
including Loftware, Label Systems. Provide first level hardware and software support for
networks, PCs, phone and video systems.
Operational Excellence: Work with the IT team to identify equipment and processes that are within the GE standards.
MES 360+ support – Provide user and system support, act as
liaison to central MES360+ development and support teams to ensure a
smooth transition and drive stable operations.
Labeling Systems Support - Provide user and system support
(maintain and configure print queues, end user support with label
formats/designs, and software maintenance upgrades)
Provide user support and assist with SAP migration.
Desktop support: Provide day to day support to users, equipment refreshes and installs within the GE standards.
Avaya PBX: Support and maintenance as required.
Avaya Voicemail: Changes, profile adds, and support as needed.
Shop Floor: Provide support with processes on the shop
floor. Facility required changes that have PLCs which need be interfaced
in a consistent manner.
Local Network support: Support of wiring and location of various active devices.
LXE/Honeywell: Support of wireless devices, truck mounted terminals in warehouse and shop floor.
Xerox – act as site contact for Xerox devices for supplies and service.
Previous experience in IT supporting a GE manufacturing facility.
Strong computer skills - Advanced technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills of Microsoft
Windows XP/7, Office 2010 suite.
Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP and networks and how to troubleshoot connectivity issues.
Ability to handle confidential information appropriately
Excellent written and spoken communication skills, ability to translate technical information into
business terms
Excellent sense of priority and ability to support effectively several assignments and keeping
management informed and maintaining customer satisfaction in a fast paced environment.
Strong desire for self-improvement and to learn new MES technologies/processes. Willing to
maintain and develop level of technical expertise.
Proven knowledge of Global GE tool sets (Support Central, ServiceNow, Workflow, WebEx
Meeting, WebEx Connect, etc.) and processes.

Associates Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or
Engineering
