| The Business Rules Architect will be responsible for providing
industry guidance, conceptual and practical guidance and direction on
Business Rules practices/processes. In addition, the Business Rules Architect will be responsible for full life cycle software development and maintenance of the Enterprise Business Rules Management System (BRMS); rule discovery/extraction from business requirements; rule design/governance; rule authoring/flow; rule template creation using WODM rule designer; installing WODM products such as decision center and decision server on WODM 8.0; creating Execution Object Model (XOM) and Business Object Model (BOM); publishing the projects to decision center and deploying rule apps to Decision server; establishing roles in Decision Center (Rule Team Server) and Synchronization with RTS; creating test suites and performing rule validation using Decision validation services (DVS); migrating of the project from ILOG Jrules v7 to WODM 8.0; architecting enterprise rules framework using IBM WODM/ILOG; using various rules integration patterns (REST, SOAP, JMS); automating the rules build process; designing/developing of enterprise level rules using IBM WODM/ILOG; and customizing of rules designer, decision center, decision server components. The Business Rules Architect will also work in rules development in WODM; work with WODM and Jrules; meet with SMEs and client stakeholders; discuss alternate options on functions and rules; prepare design and code artifacts, understand and have used data in multiple formats sourced from more than one type of data source; understand and apply data; experience with different data integration methods; execute unit testing, integration testing and system testing; draw process diagrams, workflow integration and operations diagrams, establish documentation of standard processes and procedures; and review of mappings. Consultants will be located in an IBM office in the metropolitan area or at an IBM client site. Selected candidates may not need to travel for all projects outside of their metro area. However, all candidates must be able and willing to travel based on assigned project demand. Travel requirements may vary but could be up to 100%.
