This position involves developing complex CAD designs and drawings for GE Appliances in a large, complex Windchill/Creo assembly environment.
Essential Responsibilities	Develop complex layouts and drawings using a CAD program (Creo) involving originality, advanced drafting techniques and showing practical mechanical and fabrication techniques with engineering assistance. Skilled at developing component and system level mechanical designs. Capable of working with a cross-functional team to complete multiple assigned projects. Create design of products from sketches, schematics and verbal instruction. Incorporate designer value of manufacturing practice, tooling, quality measurement systems, tolerance, and assembly fit. Ability to check engineering drawings to determine proper fit and function, correctness and completeness of information and conformance to standards. Ability to document engineering changes using Windchill developed software.
Qualifications/Requirements	Minimum 2 year mechanical/technical degree. Must be an expert at using Windchill/Creo. Minimum 5 years of experience in a large mechanical assembly environment. Skilled in 3D modeling and an expert in drawing structure and tolerancing. Must be comfortable working in a high pressure NPI (New Product Introduction) environment. Analytical and organizational skills. Ability to effectively communicate cross-functionally and cross-culturally. Strong desire to work within and support the team environment.
