| Job description |
Security Consultants in this job role will have a passion for
customer care and satisfaction coupled with experience delivering
technical Professional Services around security products including:
Fulfilling all aspects of Professional Services activities including
planning, design, implementation, tuning and alignment with customer
business requirements.
Managing engagements and delivering
professional services as specified in the Statement of Work, meeting
customer expectations and controlling scope
Ensuring
Security Intelligence (SIEM, Q1 Labs) solutions are deployed and
operating to deliver the technical and business results required by the
customer.
Integrating Security Intelligence (Q1 Labs)
solutions with customer operations including network management and
ticketing systems, and assist customers in building operational
processes around the QRadar ecosystem
Advising customers on SIEM and security best practices and implementing customer use with QRadar
Conducting security investigations into customer incidents using QRadar Security Intelligence.
Tuning and troubleshooting QRadar to deliver optimal performance in high volume enterprise customer environments.
Configure and troubleshoot network and security devices, various
operating systems, and applications such as web, mail and database
services.
Deliver training to customers, both on-site and open enrollment courses.
The candidate should have:
Experience with shell scripting, Perl or other interpreted scripting languages.
Programming experience is a plus.
Customer relations, organization, planning, and verbal and written communications skills.
Analytical thinking, troubleshooting and confident in modifying back end configuration files.
Experience with successful project management and SIEM is preferred.
Technical understandings of product and solution capabilities.

Required
- High School Diploma/GED
- At least 1 year experience in Expertise in Linux, Windows,
operating systems system administration or security vulnerability
assessment
- At least 1 year experience in Hands on experience in security
forensics, penetration testing or SOC operations or incident management
and response
- At least 1 year experience in Experience in networking architecture, device configuration, and routing protocols
- At least 6 months experience in SIEM Deployment and tuning
- At least 1 year experience in Implementing security solutions (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS, IDM, etc) in enterprise environments
- At least 1 year experience in Experience in conducting security
investigations into customer incidents SIEM, or forensic capabilities
- Readiness to travel 100% travel annually
- English: Fluent
|
Preferred
- At least 1 year experience in delivering technology or
architecture solution designs, with focus on multiple product
integrations
- Certified in CISSP, CISA / CISM, CEH, CEPT, CCIE, various GIAC certifications
