Sourcing is a huge growth opportunity for IBM. It’s critical we drive immediate and direct focus on market conditioning, opportunity identification, and deal expansion. The emerging business and IT services model focuses on business value not only long term services support but re framing the sourcing category and providing support for managed services. Partnerships, new models and the evolving role of the CIO are all key business dynamics supporting the need for this critical role. A seasoned marketing professional that exhibits planning, strong communication and teaming skills and ideally knowledge of the sourcing market and how this is evolving beyond procurement are key.
