Job description

Seeking an experienced client-facing Project Executive (PE) in Boca Raton, FL with strong delivery management skills, with preference for candidates within the retail industry. The PE interfaces directly with clients and performs activities to ensure customer satisfaction. Must be very client focused and able to thrive in a fast paced, retail focused client environment. PE must lead in a manner that enhances IBM's climate and business results. Must have equally balanced skills in general management areas of client relationship management, consultative approach, financial / business management, contract issue management and team management. Will be accountable for meeting contract gross profit and for meeting or exceeding overall customer satisfaction targets. The PE defines objectives related to the project for all areas of scope: delivery results, operations effectiveness, cost, schedule, technical and quality perspective. Ability to influence client stakeholders and the extended delivery team. Provides leadership to client, project stakeholders and team. Fosters and engages in teamwork at professional levels in IBM / customer / supplier organizations. Provides evaluation input of team member performance against specific job responsibilities to the team members manager. Provides giveback to the profession and IBM. The PE must possess strong client relationship skills and strong delivery management skills to provide leadership and oversight to the projects and area of the business they are managing. PE will be responsible for: Overall delivery of service levels and all contractual scope Understanding the business model and growing the business Large projects or significant segment of large complex projects Financial baseline of the project, and accountable for project results Overall responsibility for revenue and profit objectives of contracts/projects Identifying, estimating and presenting cost, schedule and deliverables Translating customer requirements into formal agreements and plans to culminate in customer acceptance of results, while meeting business and contractual objectives Project planning Business and technical risk for the project, including the commitment of resources. Candidate needs to reside in Boca Raton FL and be at the client site Monday-Friday, 8AM-6PM. Travel would be up to 10% annually.

Required At least 4 years experience in successfully leading a large complex project At least 3 years experience in a significant networking environment (Cisco) At least 3 years experience in working with subcontractors At least 4 years experience in interfacing at multiple levels of client management and building relationships At least 4 years experience in forecasting, controlling costs, and meeting targets for revenue, profit and business growth At least 4 years experience in reviewing contractual responsibilities (SOWs) and understanding Conditions of Satisfaction At least 4 years experience in demonstrated communications at all levels (written/verbal/presentations) Certified in Project Management or plan to attain certification within 12 months Readiness to travel 10% travel annually English: Fluent

Preferred Bachelor's Degree At least 3 years experience in the retail industry At least 2 years experience in and familiarity with Network Tower scope and delivery
