Support implementation of Data Governance program for the Oracle based platform at Capital HQ. Provide analytical support to design and implement governance tools and processes. Assist on data governance projects requiring cross functional engagement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team to lead development & maintenance of governance documents such as data dictionary, data lineage etc.
  • Assist in gathering risk data across Capital's global portfolios and provide detailed analysis.
  • Evaluate complex situations by working cross-functionally and analyzing multiple sources of data.
  • Identify and articulate risks and opportunities relevant to the Data Management initiatives.
  • Help implement process improvement and efficiency in order to accurately capture the changing business economics and structure.
  • Train and support of new team members.
  • Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and a minimum 2 years of finance, risk, data, IT, or audit experience
  • Experience collaborating on cross-functional projects
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel, Access)
  • Strong communication skills


    Eligibility Requirements:
  • MUST be able to satisfy the requirements of Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Finance, Risk, or Data related field
  • GE leadership program graduate (CAS, FMP, ITLP, OMLP, RMP); CAS a plus
  • Knowledge of the US Regulatory landscape
  • Financial Services industry experience
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Prior work experience in enterprise data projects
  • Demonstrated experience analyzing risk/business data with the ability to distill large amounts of information to the critical areas of focus
  • Working knowledge of PL/SQL & scripting languages
  • YOU MUST BE ABLE TO SATISFY THE REQUIREMENTS OF SECTION 19 OF THE FEDERAL DEPOSIT INSURANCE ACT.
